Here, the ends of the bearing bars are enclosed with a Z-shaped spécial section that is connected to the bearing bars by means of an automatic résistance welding process. This shelf grating is also very résilient as a resuit. An important advantage of the inserted shelf grating is the improved effective height of the shelf spaces. Since this shelf grating is suspended between the longitudinal girders, the insertion height of a shelf is not redueed by the grating itself. Inlaid between supports shelf grating with U-shaped section surround in this version, a rolled U-shaped section is welded to the ends of the bearing bars. The grating therefore lies within the shelves and is also locked with the cross-members by means of the U-shaped section. Additional safety will therefore be provided if the shelves are subjected to excessive loads.
