Description
Pure PTFE rods are available either solid or with a milled steel core.
- Solid rods have tapered ends
- Steel-core rods can be bent into a permanent shape
- Both types are inert, will not scratch, and can be used at temperatures up to 280°C (536°F)

Solid PTFE rods measure approximately 0.3125 in. O.D. (8mm), steel-core rods, 0.25 in. O.D. (6.35mm).
