Glass Fibre is a material consisting of numerous extremely fine fibres of glass and usually used as a pre-filter for samples with a high particulate content. Ideal for heavily contaminated samples and can be used as pre-filter to remove large particulates prior to further filtration. The nominal rated depth filters can take a higher load than membrane barrier filters and offer lower cost.
- Hydrophilic material membrane
- Low extractable and high dirt-handling capacity
- Able to filter solutions at temperatures up to 100 deg. C
- Autoclave at 121 deg. C at 1 bar for 20 minutes/EO/Gamma
- Borosilicate glass filter for dissolution analyses
These filters are compatible with our vacuum filter flasks and manifold systems however they can be used in many other 3rd party setups.
High quality membrane disc filters that give consistent and reliable results and are optimised for HPLC media preparation, pharmaceuticals and cold sterilisation.
