Polypropylene is a hydrophobic membrane. It has excellent chemical stability and compatibility with organic solvent and strong acids (apart from hydrofluoric acid) and bases. The membrane can also be used as pre-filter for samples with a high particulate content. And suitable for HPLC sample preparation and gas separation.
