APPLICATIONS The SCD 8100 is ideally suited for closing pre-tied casings. The machine has been specially designed for the efficient processing of natural casings, such as fatends, chitterlings and bladders. Plastic, fibrous and collagen casings from small diameters up to 120 mm can also be processed. The closing of the gate gathers the casing before the clip is applied automatically. With the SCD machine the clip pressure can be adjusted via a click-stop scale individually and reproducibly. In addition, product specific closing speed and pressure can be set with the pressure regulator assembly. The SCD 8100 adapts optimally to every production situation.
