APPLICATIONS The SCD 700 is ideally suited for closing pre-tied casings. It processes all casings from small diameters up to 120 mm. The modular system allows additional components to be easily fitted. As an option, a code can be stamped directly onto the clip during closing of the portion. The coding stamp has three characters. This can be used to simply encode the date of manufacture or batch/lot number. The closing of the gate gathers the casing before the clip is applied automatically. With the SCD machine the clip pressure can be adjusted via a click-stop scale individually and reproducibly.
