Commissioning greatly simplified With a new and lean version of the on-machine controller, the stator box, it is now possible to call up and evaluate the current status and detailed information of the interchangeable tool axis (U axis) via a modern touchscreen display. This is possible not only during operation, but also during commissioning. The direct and simple access to the U axis without additional tools such as a mobile PC greatly simplifi es the set-up for the machine manufacturer. Should errors exist, they can be very quickly analysed and corrected using the call-up possibilities and information from the stator box. Various application tools complete the further development and off er significant added value.
