The Kowa LM16HC-VIS-SW lens captures both visible and SWIR light with virtually zero focus shift. Thus, an object can be imaged with visible, NIR and SWIR light sources in rapid succession, without having to refocus the lens.
This lens excels in installations where a camera must image objects using a wide range of wavelengths. Examples include fruit, vegetable and nut sortation, packaged product inspection, anti-counterfeiting tasks, and high-end surveillance. This Kowa HC-VIS-SW lenses pair especially well with cameras having a Sony SWIR image sensor.
