The Mitutoyo Quick Vision Ultra Vision Measuring System completes demanding tasks in high accuracy vision-based measurement. Employing an air bearing system that minimizes stage movement errors, this greatly reduces errors due to axial fluctuation that adversely affects kinetic performance. An image multi-autofocus feature helps select the focus for optimal edge detection. The Quick Vision Ultra Series enables contact and non-contact measurements on the same machine. This is achieved using a camera for non-contact measurements and an optional touch-trigger probe for contact measurements.

• Minimizes straightness errors through the use of a precision air-bearing linear guide system
• Linear encoder scale is made of crystallized glass with an expansion coefficient at almost zero to minimize errors caused by temperature fluctuations
• Standard temperature compensation offers higher accuracy in challenging temperature environments
• Programmable turreted zoom changes the magnification multiplier from 1X to 6X
• A Programmable Ring Light (PRL) allows for fine control and direction for optimal measurement illumination to enhance the edge of inclined surfaces and very small steps
• Stabilizes the geometrical accuracy (i.e. straightness of each axis and perpendicularity) to lessen thermal effects
• Optional Tracking Auto Focus (TAF) maintains focus while measuring across warped part surfaces
• The accuracy of this model conforms to ISO10360-7:2011 (specifications on request)
