The Thermo SPD121P SpeedVac Concentrator uses centrifugation, vacuum, and heat technologies for removing solvents and concentrating samples while sustaining sample integrity. Applications range from the drying down of DNA preparations in water and methanol, to more complex and aggressive applications presented by the chemistry and drug discovery sectors of the pharmaceutical industry. The Thermo SPD121P SpeedVac Concentrator utilizes microprocessor controls along with an easy-to-use time/temperature/vacuum display incorporating membrane touch pad switches. This concentrator also features a radiant glass safety cover, improving drying times by applying radiant IR heat to samples.
