The 60093 Interface Kit is used to connect a Q Series lamp housing to a 68942 power supply. This item provides the electronic interface to utilize deuterium lamps with the 60000 Q Housing. It also includes a deuterium lamp mount and safety interlock feature to ensure the lamp cannot be used without the lamp housing cover being in place. This Interface Kit is included with Q Series Light Sources using deuterium lamps. If the Q Housing is being configured by ordering individual parts, the 60093 is required. Note that the 60093 is not for use with arc lamps, quartz tungsten halogen lamps or IR emitters. Because the Q Series Lamp Housing is designed to be flexible and easy to reconfigure, when using these other types of light sources, order the appropriate interface kit.
