Vacuum filtration apparatus
Complete filtering system, beautifully crafted using most suitable materials. This all glass vacuum filter system restricts contact with reactive surfaces such as steel or rubber, to minimise contamination of the filtrate. Standard 47/50mm filtration funnels mount on a filtration flask using a ground glass joint. The filtered drip is positioned below the side arm to prevent sample aspiration into the vacuum line.
Applications
Glass vacuum filter set is suited to aqueous, organic or corrosive liquids for particulate contamination analysis.
The filter flask unit may be used to sterilise heat intolerant liquids using a suitable pore size filter.
The filter apparatus may be used to clean and outgas solvents for HPLC.
Features
This filter flask kit is made of clear, extra hard borosilicate glass.
Individual pieces are made to a high accuracy and fit together tightly to seal the vacuum.
Sizes meet international standards.
The entire unit may be autoclaved at 121 deg. C.
