EDF is responsible for determining the hydraulic test bubbles used for ABP / ACO pipelines (secondary circuit). The preferred technique for achieving this is the installation of high-pressure pneumatic stoppers. It is for this reason that Pronal can propose inflatable bladders for plugging ABP58 and 59TY, ACO 1 and 2BA, and ABP heater pipes 108 to 113. They are produced in different dimensions: 325 mm and 380 mm. This stopper system is also perfectly capable of resisting test pressures of 24 bar. They can withstand up to 35 bar and even more. These hydraulic tests serves to certify the strength and tightness of the ACO tank. This Pronal inflatable stopper system reduces outage time by avoiding cutting/welding pipework that could also include the fitting of welded caps.
