The Series All Metal Automotive IAD IAHMS consists of Inductive Proximity Switches, which were particularly developed for the production lines in the Automotive Industry. Tney durably withstand the extreme environmental conditions occurring there. Some of the special requirements Inductive Proximity Switches have to fulfill are 1.the detection of targets of different metals such as iron and aluminium, copper and brass, V2A- and other steels has to be possible without causing a change of the switching distance. 2.the reliable operation in strong electromagnetic fields has to be guaranteed. 3.welding splashes, which can’t be avoided in body shops, may not impair the characteristics of the switch. The proximity switches of the Series All Metal Automative made by KLASCHKA have an ironless coil in connection with an ironless housing. The housings are Teflon-coated, the sensing faces are ceramic-coated. Thus these sensors offer -the reduction factor 1 for all metals (A), -a high switching frequency and short operating time (H), -a magnetic field-resistance of more than 150 mT (M), -a weld-resistance (S).
