The Mitutoyo ABS ID-C signal output digital indicator has a maximum/minimum value holding function to perform Go/No-Go judgements against the peak values set. The judgement is performed by calculating the measurement data obtained instead of through a mechanical or electrical contact which provides better reliability. The judgement is indicated by green and red LEDs and “&lt,, O, &gt,” signs on the LCD allowing the signal to be outputted to an external device such as a sequencer through the NPN open-collector.
