HVDC voltage detectors HTAG are designed to verify that a nominal voltage is actually absent from a circuit in a HV system between 50 kV and 765 kV (Voltage Absence Verification): — The device must detect any nominal voltage present on a network or in a substation. — It avoids the detection of induced voltages, to enable grounding operations. Voltage ranges to choose from: 50 kV to 765 kV Features : — Permanent standby state with automatic wake-up function — Indication of the presence of a voltage within the calibrated range or at a higher voltage causes the RED LED to light up and triggers the audible signal. — OK self-test: the device’s OK (‘ready for use’) status is indicated by the GREEN indicator light. — The self-test checks all circuits, the reference detection level and battery voltage. — The self-test is repeated automatically for the duration of the ‘ready for use’ state indicated by the green LED (1.5 minutes). — Low battery level indicated by dedicated ORANGE LED. — Designed for outdoor use — Operating temperatures : -25°C to +55°C — Humidity: 96% max. — Power supply: 9 V alkaline battery — IEC 6LR61 — Accepts batteries with identical voltage output — Yellow or red polycarbonate case — Dimensions: Ø 80 mm, L = 225 mm without electrode — Net weight: 0.618 kg with pole tip, without electrode — Pack contains three electrodes è 2 hooks: Ø 60 mm (AC 60) and Ø 120 mm (AC 120) and 1 straight electrode (D 100).
