Festo DSBC-50-80-PPVA-N3

Pneumatic cylinder Festo DSBC, conforming to ISO 15552 standard. The cylinder has a piston diameter of 50 mm and a stroke of 80 mm. The piston rod thread is M16x1.5, and the piston-rod end features a male thread. The cushioning is pneumatic and adjustable at both ends. Mounting position is optional.
Position detection is achieved via proximity switch. The cylinder operates with compressed air according to ISO 8573-1:2010 [7:4:4]. Lubricated operation is possible, but then it becomes mandatory. The operating pressure ranges from 0.04 MPa to 1.2 MPa (0.4 bar to 12 bar).
Corrosion resistance class CRC is 2 (moderate corrosion stress). Compliance with LABS (PWIS) is VDMA24364-B1/B2-L. The cleanroom class is 6 according to ISO 14644-1. Ambient temperature range is -20 °C to 80 °C.
Impact energy in end positions is 1 J, with a cushioning length of 22 mm. Theoretical force at 0.6 MPa for the return stroke is 990 N, and for the advance stroke is 1178 N. Moving mass for 0 mm stroke is 365 g, with an additional 25 g per 10 mm stroke. Basic weight for 0 mm stroke is 1190 g, with an additional 56 g per 10 mm stroke.
Mounting can be done via female thread or with accessories. Pneumatic connection is G1/4. Materials are RoHS-compliant. Cover material is die-cast aluminium, coated. Piston seal, piston rod wiper, and buffer seal are made of TPE-U(PU). Piston and cylinder barrel are made of wrought aluminium alloy (smooth-anodised for the barrel). Piston rod is high-alloy steel. Cushioning piston and bearing are POM. Nuts and collar screws are galvanised steel.
