ATEX II 3G represents a heating blanket specially designed for gas recipients. The LPG cylinders contain a mixture of gases that is composed primarily from a Butane percentage and from a Propane percentage. They are used for heating, cooking stoves and other purposes. The gas mixture inside the cylinders can react differently at temperature changes. For example, the Propane has a tendency to to freeze at about -40°C while the Butane freezes already at 0°C. When the temperature falls below zero, the LPG cylinder has tendencies to run out soon as the butane remains frozen at the bottom of the cylinder. In order to prevent this kind of accidents, ATEX II 3G has developed the Thermal Technology combined with an electric blanket heated with Carbon Fiber. The ATEX II 3G electric blanket is designed to fit any size of cylinder 15-20-25 kg in a very simple way. The Velcro straps are used to attach the electric blanket on cylinder. All the heating components are the Carbon Fiber resistors.
