Description
DeFelsko PosiTector 6000 Probes are fully interchangeable, compatible with all gage bodies. Further allowing interchangeability, each probe also retains its own calibration information. Probes can also connect the PosiTector 6000 wirelessly to a smart device. Perfect for industrial environments, these heavy duty probes have gold-plated connectors and include options to best meet inspection needs, such as being hermetically sealed to be waterproof, braided steel cables, angles for fitting in tight spaces, and extended length for hard-to-reach areas. Extended cables are available to suit inspections underwater or for remote measuring.
Integral Probes
Integral Probes are cordless, making them ideal for one-handed operation.
Regular Cabled Probes
Regular Cabled Probes are stainless steel and hermetically sealed to be waterproof.
FXS Xtreme Probe
The FXS Xtreme Probe, with a zirconia-toughtened alumina wear face and braided steel cable, is designed for harsh conditions and rugged applications. This probe can be used on hot surfaces up to 250°C (500°F).
90° Regular Cabled Probes
The 90° Regular Cabled Probes are constant-pressure and made of stainless steel. They are also hermetically sealed and ideal for underwater applications.
FNDS Probe
The FNDS Probe is ideal for measuring duplex coatings, able to read the individual thicknesses of both paint and zinc layers in a single reading using magnetic and eddy current principles simultaneously. When this Duplex mode is disabled, the probe operates as a normal ferrous/nonferrous instrument.
0° Microprobes
The 0° Microprobes have a small measuring tip and the best thin-film accuracy. Perfect for small parts or hard to reach areas, this probe also has a quick-release adapter that makes them constant pressure.
45° Microprobes
The 45° Microprobes have small measuring tips and the best thin-film accuracy. For hard-to-reach areas, like close to edges, this probe is ideal.
90° Microprobes
The 90° Microprobes, with small measuring tips and best thin-film accuracy, are perfect for applications on small parts and small areas.
90° Extended Microprobe
The 90° Extended Microprobe allows the user to reach farther into spaces conventional microprobes cannot, and also has a small measuring tip and best thin-film accuracy.
High-Range Probes
High-Range Probes are best suited for measuring thicknesses of protective coatings like rubber, epoxy, fireproofing, and more.
FHXS Xtreme Probe
The FHXS Xtreme Probe measures non-conductive coatings on steel substrates. With an alumina wear face and braided cable, this probe can be used on surfaces up to 250°C (500°F).
FJS Probe
The FJS Probe is perfect for applications measuring thick protective coatings applied to steel, such as thick epoxies, fireproofing, and rubber. This probe is 66% smaller than comparable probes and less vulnerable to the effects of surface roughness.
FLS Probe
The FLS Probe measures intumescent paint and thick protective coatings on steel. This probe can measure up to 38 mm (1.5′) and has a kink-proof, cut resistant braided stainless steel cable.
FNGS Probe
The FNGS Probe measures very thick, nonconductive coatings on all metals, making it ideal for measuring ship hull coatings and thick intumescent paints. This probe can measure up to 63.5 mm (2.5′) and has a long-lasting, low wear probe face.
