The ultrasounic technology produces an acoustic wind phenomenon in front of the probe without gas displacement: the focusing of the acoustic waves produced by the probe creates a pressure field at a few centimeters distance. This pressure field is sufficiently powerful to remove particles suspended in a gas or on a surface, without the addition of air or external gas. This technology is used for many applications: defoaming, particles agglomeration, inert blowing… No air supply • No contamination • Improved yield • Reduced energy consumption • Decreased reject rate Ultrasonic agglomeration results in the growth of fine particles in suspension (diameter less than 2 microns). The larger particles obtained by this process are easier to filter when using traditional processes. Inert blowing is used for filter cleaning, de-dusting, dry decontamination… This process is especially appreciated in confined environments such as clean rooms, food and nuclear sectors.
