Span-8 Waste Automated Labware Positioner (ALP) includes the waste ALP, chute and disposable bags. The waste ALP chute is for the disposal of full or empty tip racks and microtiter plates from the work area of the Biomek. The removal of the chute and the addition of the disposal bags will provide for the disposal of seven tip heads heads without their racks into the disposal bag. The waste ALP requires a single position in the outer columns in rows two or three of the Biomek work area.
