Drum heaters are used to reduce viscosity of materials such as soaps, fats, foodstuffs, varnishes and chemicals contained in steel drums. By heating these products, the correct fluid viscosity is maintained. Manufacturing traceability is guaranteed, all products are marked with identification and batch numbers. Branding and logo customization is available upon request. The silicone band heater offers outstanding performance by incorporating a 0-90 °C/ 0-120 °C capillary thermostat that provides precise and uniform heating from carefully placed PTFE coated multi-wire resistance wires. These wires are arranged throughout the heater, offering superior flexibility while negating the physical stress caused by thermal expansion during operation. Evenly applying heat to the product eliminates hot spots thus preventing damage to more sensitive materials such as sugars and glucose. A simple hook and spring fixing arrangement provides quick and easy installation.
