Description
The Emulsiflex C3 utilizes a dynamic homogenizing valve, ensuring that samples are consistently processed at an even homogenizing pressure. This results in the creation of highly uniform liposomes and microemulsions with a narrow range of particle sizes.
By employing high-pressure homogenization, the Emulsiflex C3 is capable of processing liposomes and emulsions ranging from micron to nanometer sizes. Additionally, it efficiently disrupts cells, with most cells being ruptured in just one pass, preventing excessive processing and protein damage.
Equipped with an electric motor-driven pump, the Emulsiflex C3 can generate homogenizing pressures of up to 30,000 psi (207 MPa). It has a processing capacity of up to 3 Litres per hour, and the flow rate remains unaffected by the applied pressure. It can handle samples as small as 10mL.
