The REX water calibration device improves the automatic twisting of sausages filled out into natural giving uniform length and calibre. It is extremely simplistic in operation and attached directly to a 400 fixed holding device without the use of tools or specialist knowledge The required water supply is provided by a hose with quick coupling. It can be used for all products in sheep and hog casings. Immediately after twisting the sausages are passed through a calibration tube corresponding to the desired product calibre and length, and are adjusted to the desired calibre and thus stretched to equal lengths. The casing brake, and thus the strength of the products, can be adjusted during operation. The number of intestinal bursts is significantly reduced as a positive side effect.
