The Agilent HP 6012A provides maximum output power capability over a wide and continuous range of voltage or current. This function is performed automatically, requiring no range selection by the operator.
The Agilent 6012A Autoranging Power Supply provides laboratory-grade performance with the high efficiency of switching regulation techniques. Autoranging allow the supply to provide at least 1000 watts output power over a wide range of output voltage and current combinations without the user having to select the proper output range. The output is adjustable throught the entire operating range of 0 to 60 volts and 0 to 50 amperes by 10-turn front-panel controls.
These single-output supplies can replace multiple units, saving rack space and reducing system cost and complexity.
This series of DC power supplies take the place of multiple power supplies on your test bench by providing maximum power at a variety of operating points. They have ten-turn front panel pots to allow precise local control. These power supplies also may beconnected in auto-parallel or series with their corresponding GPIB unit (6030 Series), as part of a test system.
