The 4-point clamping unit of the zero-point-clamping system MZP allows a quick, simple and time-optimized positioning and clamping of workpieces or fixtures on the machine table. Different clamping devices can be mounted upon the clamping unit and can be changed within seconds. Only one clamping screw has to be operated in order to open or close all four clamping points at the same time. Thanks to the high-quality design of the clamping device extremely high retraction and retention forces can be achieved. The set-up times will be considerably reduced because of the quick change of the workpiece. The 4-point clamping unit is opened and closed using a WAF 10 hexagon wrench key. It can be fastened to the machine table either by the four M12 fastening bores or via mechanical clamping devices.
